Revoking our Subtropical Status

We are getting very motivated to finish building our house as this winter progresses.

This is the first snow in 16 years apparently....lucky us!

Building lots of huge fires for roasting wild goat, sheep and pig...and or course, sipping on Orange HomeBrew.

Bit Blustery this Winter

We have had quite the adventure here this past few weeks.

Zeke and Izzy were sleaping in their house when these trees came down upon them. Luckily the house absorbed the impact and protected them both!
The two pups are a bit jumpy now when they hear a stick snap, but otherwise unhurt.




This lovely narrowly missed our house! Less than a meter.
